Pasta n' peas
Looking around my nearly empty fridge and cupboards one night, this was one of those dinners that magically came together out of literally the only things left in my kitchen. With only a few ingredients, the result turned out to be pretty delicious and it has become a favorite dinner in the winter months.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup frozen peas
1tsp sea salt
1tsp ground pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (plus more for garnish)
1lb box Orecchiette or pasta of your choice
Prepare the pasta according to the package directions. Add a pinch of sea salt to the boiling water before adding the pasta. This keeps the pasta from sticking and adds flavor as it cooks. I recommend using orecchiette because it has perfect sized nooks for the peas to sit. Farfalle would also work well.
While the pasta is cooking, combine the cream, cheese, salt and pepper and frozen peas in a large skillet, over low heat, until the peas are warm and the cheese has melted.
Drain the pasta then combine with cream and peas and heat for another minute tossing constantly until all of the pasta is coated with the sauce. Serve immediately and top with freshly grated cheese and pepper. Boom!
