Greenpoint Fish and Lobster Co.

On the corner of one of the lesser traveled streets in Greenpoint, lies one of the best kept secrets in the neighborhood. Mussels, razor clams, squid, shrimp, clams, oysters, fish large and small sit propped up in crushed ice lining the windows along Nassau and Ekford Streets.

Half fish market, half restaurant, Greenpoint Fish and Lobster serves up the freshest sea delights offering a menu who's main ingredient changes with the day's catch. Their goal is to provide the highest quality seafood there is while helping to restore marine and coastal ecosystems.

Greenpoint Fish and Lobster is my go-to spot, whether I"m picking up something to throw on the grill, or sitting down at the bar and enjoying a fresh sea scallop with a glass of rose on tap while watching the chefs work their magic. Next time you're in the neighborhood, or even if you're not, this place should not be missed!
